The psychological significance of violence against women

The psychological importance of addressing violence against women is very great because violence does not leave only physical consequences — it deeply affects the mind, emotions, and identity of women. Therefore, IADK organized a psychological training with Ms. Arlinda Kasumi Shabani, whom we thank very much for her contribution to the participants of the GIGAVA group. This training served as a safe space for discussion, reflection, and empowerment, where women shared experiences, challenges, and practical ways to support each other. Through open conversations and interactive exercises, the importance of awareness, emotional support, and raising one's voice against all forms of violence was emphasized.
This activity is supported by the project "Empowering women, men, and youth living in rural areas facing economic challenges to create sustainable livelihoods through agricultural and food processing activities," supported by the Swiss donor FREIDA.
Together we are stronger! 💜
Violence has no place in our lives!
Let us continue to end the silence and raise awareness!
