Today, in times of pandemic and isolation, the production of agricultural products for family and the population is important and essential for survival. This is best utilized by one of the beneficiaries of the IADK, Mr. Trimnor Zekaj, 24 years old from the village of Nekoc, Drenas Municipality. Being very young, Trimnor had gone to Germany hoping to find a job and a better life. But he had not found what he had expected, so after some time he returned to his hometown, to the village rich in fertile land and with great agricultural opportunities.
Despite Trimnori's willingness and readiness, due to the lack of agricultural resources, he was unable to work the land as he wished. However, his interest in agriculture had become a reality thanks to the help provided by the organization IADK, the project to restore, supported by the German GIZ. IADK provided Trimnori with agricultural machinery (tiller, sprayer, and potato planter), as well as continuous training and advice. Therefore, during these days, Trimnori together with his family have started using the machinery, preparing agricultural land and planting potatoes and other agricultural crops. Trimnori is grateful to the organization IADK and the project supported by GIZ for the opportunity provided.
