Fifteen candidates have been selected to participate in training from the municipality of Lipjan.

The organization "Initiative for Development" of Agriculture of Kosovo" (IADK]), is implementing the project "Empowering Youth and women from rural areas through involvement in agriculture and food processing" three-year project (2021-2023), supported by the Swiss donor CFD.

The project will include the municipalities of Vushtrri and Lipjan, which are project partners.

This project will to contribute to helping young people, women, and disadvantaged groups in rural areas to create new businesses, to create conditions for self-employed and conditions for income generation.

Within the framework of the activity of A total of 43 candidates have applied to the Youth Support Project in Agriculture. Based on the criteria set out in the project, the selection of 15 candidates was made for 5-day training in farm management, preparation of the business plan and agricultural production techniques. After the training, the young people will have the opportunity to apply for support grants in the agricultural subsectors (vegetable growers, livestock breeders, beekeepers, fruit growers, and poultry farmers).
