[NT11]] continues to support the processing sector by assisting in the creation of new businesses in the municipalities of Vushtrri and Mitrovica.
After completing professional training in fruit processing, vegetables, and dessert preparation, IADK evaluated and selected two project beneficiaries: Vjosa Rexhaj from the village of Brusnik, municipality of Vushtrri, and Adelina Ferati from the village of Bare, municipality of Mitrovica.
Today, the Executive Director of IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, and the two beneficiaries of the units signed contracts worth 22,000 Euros.
Ms. Rexhaj is the beneficiary of the fruit and vegetable processing equipment, which will be equipped with all the necessary devices for cleaning, processing, pasteurizing, and storing fruit and vegetable products.
The equipment beneficiary, Adelina Ferati, will be supported to start the business in preparing desserts with baking ovens, work tables, cooling combos, refrigerators, mixers, and other elements that facilitate the preparation of products.
[NT14]] will support the beneficiaries with barcodes for 100 products, which will be provided by the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, the design of logos and labels for the products they plan to launch on the market, as well as direct advice that will assist in the initial steps of starting a business.
The activity was supported within the framework of the project "Professional training and income-generating opportunities in agriculture for women and youth living in rural areas of Kosovo," supported by the CFD donor from Switzerland and implemented by IADK.
