Inauguration of the Fruit, Vegetable, and Similar Processing Units "Eljesa BSH" and "Rejana EHN sh.p.k" in the municipality of Skenderaj

Përurimi i Njësive të Përpunimit të Frutave, Perimeve dhe të Ngjashme “Eljesa BSH” dhe “Rejana EHN sh.p.k” në komunën e Skenderajt

On 19.12.2025, the inauguration ceremony of the new fruit, vegetable, and similar processing units was held, "Eljesa BSH", led by Fidajete Shala, and "Rejana EHN sh.p.k", led by Sabahate Shala, in the Municipality of Skenderaj.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the executive director of IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, Mr. Sabit Ferizi, Head of the Agriculture Department in the Municipality of Skenderaj, family members, and relatives of the beneficiaries. Their participation underlined broad institutional and community support for such initiatives aimed at the economic development of rural areas and the empowerment of women entrepreneurs.
This support was made possible after professional training conducted by IADK, where in-depth knowledge was acquired in the processing of fruits, vegetables, and other similar products, as well as hygiene practices and the use of professional equipment.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project "Improving Employment and Income Generation Opportunities in the Rural Areas of Kosovo," supported by the German donor Brot für die Welt (BfdW) and implemented in cooperation with the Municipality of Skenderaj.
