Support for new beneficiaries – Zubin Potok
Within the framework of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development", The Kosovo Agriculture Development Initiative (IADK) has supported 6 Young farmers in the municipality of Zubin Potok with grants. This intervention aims to strengthen the economy of rural areas, where agriculture remains the main source of income for many families.
The beneficiaries will also attend practical training, in order to be equipped with knowledge of the efficient use of equipment and sustainable management of their farms.
Through this support:
- 5 farmers have to receive agricultural equipment to increase the efficiency of agricultural work;
- 1 farmer is supported by greenhouses, modern irrigation systems , and accompanying inputs for cultivation.

Except support with equipment, IADK continues to offer professional training from field experts, contributing to the capacity building of farmers and in improving their agricultural practices.
This activity is part of the project "Empowering Rural Communities through the Development of Agriculture", funded by the Swedish Development Cooperation Agency and International Cooperation (SIDA) and represented by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo.
