Non-governmental organization Initiative for the Development of Agriculture Kosovo ([NT6]]) is implementing the project "Improving employment and opportunities for income generation in rural areas of Kosovo," funded by Donor Brot für die Welt (BfdW) from Germany.
IADK is currently the organization of the only and leading one in Kosovo, accredited by the National Authority of Qualifications, and has validated profiles in the livestock sector in the provision of non-formal education training services, specifically in offering, the evaluation and certification of candidates, such as: Livestock Technician, level III according to the National Qualifications Framework (NCC).
During In 2021, IADK will train a group of 15 livestock farmers from the Municipality of Kamenica.
The project will cover expenses that related to trainings (food, teaching materials, and certification). Participants will be trained in the livestock profile (cattle, sheep, and goats), which includes a total of 30 credits (300 teaching hours), or only in the cattle profile containing 20 credits (200 teaching hours), where 30% will be theoretical lessonsand 70% practical training.
After completing the training and successful certification of the candidates, livestock farmers will have the opportunity to apply for the support grant scheme, in which certified farmers, after training, will come with their project proposal for grants with an average value of 3,000.00 Euros.
CRITERIA APPLICATION AND SELECTION:
Possible categories of the people who will attend this course are:
a) Livestock farmers living in the Municipality of Kamenica;
b) Livestock breeders who have completed compulsory education and wish to study in the livestock sector;
c) Young livestock breeders who have completed their education general secondary or vocational education and are unemployed;
d) Livestock farmers working on livestock farms, but who seek to acquire higher-level knowledge
