Invitation to apply for Training for dessert preparation and grants
The organization "Initiative for Development" of Agriculture of Kosovo" (IADK)), is implementing the project "Improving employment and opportunities for income generation in rural areas of Kosovo" three-year project (2020-2022), supported by the donor "Bread for the World" from Germany.
One of the objectives of The project supports women in rural areas in skills development in the confectionery sector, which will then have the opportunity to generate income from their work.
For the year 2021, the activity for professional training and grants will involve the Municipality of Viti by selected 1 group of 15 women who will follow the program of theoretical and practical training in preparation of sweets.
[NT6]] in cooperation and co-financing with the Municipality of Viti will invest in the training of the group of women to increase their knowledge in preparing desserts, which will to be awarded certificates upon completion of professional training. In addition to skill development, the project will include a component of generating income for the most successful candidate among those who have completed the training and have been certified. Within the framework of this grant, a confectionery production unit with an investment of €12,000.00. Therefore, Women/girls are invited to apply for the continuation of training for the preparation of sweets, where after completing the training and certification, they will apply for the processing unit.
APPLICATION CRITERIA AND SELECTION OF CANDIDATES:
- Women living in rural areas of the Municipality of Vitisë;
- Willingness to be part of the trainings;
- Unqualified and limited education;
- To be interested in starting a business or self-employment;
- To be aged 18-50 years;
- Women who are heads of households have priority selection;
