CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR SOLAR PANELS
Organization "The Initiative for the Development of Agriculture of Kosovo" (IADK) is implementing the "Transhumance" project - new tourism offer of Kosovo and Montenegro" 2-year project (September 2020 – August 2022). The project is funded by the European Union through the IPA II cross-border cooperation program between Montenegro and Kosovo. Partner the project includes IADK as the lead partner, the Municipality of Istog, and the Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije (RDA KBP) si co-applicant. The municipalities of Istog and Peja are also co-financiers of of the project.
The project aims to improve the volume, quality, and visibility of tourism in related to the assessment of heritage and cultural and natural values, as well as the inclusion of transhumance in the tourism offer of Kosovo and Montenegro.
Within the framework of activities The project plans support for 50 families who have sheepfolds/villas in mountain pastures with solar panels, 20 of which have large capacity (for TV, refrigerator, etc.) and 30 small capacity (for charging GPS, phones, etc.).
Therefore, everyone is invited to Those interested in applying for support with solar panels and other equipment for the development of mountain tourism in the municipalities of Istog and Peja.
THE BASIC CRITERIA THAT CANDIDATES MUST MEET ARE:
a) To be active in agricultural and tourism activities;
b) To have the opportunity to be engaged in tourism (land, water, labor force);
c) To have sheepfolds/villas that can to accommodate tourists, and/or to be able to provide services touristic;
d) To be willing to participation in all capacity-building activities;
e) To have ideas to create employment opportunities and income generation in the tourism sector;
f) To have an attractive location and suitable for the development of tourism activities;
g) Women and youth will have priority in selection.

Application with documents must be submitted to the offices of IADK or the tourism offices in the respective municipalities: Istog (contact person Genc Ademaj) and Pejë (person contactor Virtyt Morina) or via the above-mentioned emails.
