Today the program successfully concluded 20-day training for professional skills in the livestock sector, accredited and validated by the National Qualifications Authority. In this a total of 15 candidates participated, of whom 8 are from the Municipality of Skenderaj and 7 from the Municipality of Malishevë.
All participants completed successfully completed the training and were certified with the title "Livestock Technician", according to Level III of the National Qualifications Framework.
The modular training program at the livestock sector, profile "Cattle", consisted of 7 modules with a total of 140 teaching hours, equivalent to 7 credits. From the general fund of hours, 70% were completed through practical learning, while 30% through learning theoretical.
During the ceremony, with the candidates of certified grant agreements were also signed. This The activity was carried out within the framework of the project "Improving Employment and Opportunities" for Income Generation in Rural Areas", funded by the organization Bread for the World from Germany and co-financed by partner municipalities.
Present at the award ceremony of certificates and signing of agreements were Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, Director of the organization IADK, Mr. Sabit Ferizi, Director for Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development in the Municipality of Skenderaj, as well as Mr. Sylë Dukolli, Director for Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Development in the Municipality of Malishevë.
Training conducted and support through grants, aim to advance cattle breeding practices, improving hygienic conditions on the farm, increasing the quality and quantity of milk, the implementation of proper feeding practices for dairy cows, as well as genetic improvement of breeds. These interventions will contribute to increasing productivity and generating higher incomes for the beneficiary farmers.
