The square of the city of Lipjan was filled with colors, aromas, and flavors of local products thanks to the participation of the hardworking and active women of the project, as well as farmers from various sectors of agriculture and food processing. from the municipalities of Lipjan, Shtime, Vushtrri, and Mitrovica.
The opening of the fair was attended by: Mr. Zenel Bunjaku – Executive Director of IADK, Mr. Imri Ahmeti – Mayor of the Municipality of Lipjan, Mr. Rexhep Rexhepi – Director of Agriculture in the Municipality of Lipjan, and other representatives of the municipality and the FRIEDA project team
The fair aimed to promote local production, support participating local farmers, and raise awareness about the importance of sustainable economic development in rural areas.
After the fair closed, all participants were certified with participation certificates, while three of them were rewarded with symbolic gifts for: Best Promotion, Most Creative Design, and Most Unique Product.
This activity was organized by IADK and carried out within the framework of the project:
"Empowering women, men, and youth living in rural areas facing economic challenges to create sustainable livelihoods through agricultural activities and food processing," funded by the Swiss donor FRIEDA, in cooperation with the Municipality of Lipjan.
