IADK signed contracts with seven beneficiary farmers from the Municipality of Skenderaj for grant support in the fruit-growing sector, specifically for the establishment of strawberry plantations.

The support package provided to each beneficiary includes strawberry seedlings (Albion and Aprica varieties) for a cultivation area of 1,500 m², an irrigation system with accompanying inputs, anti-frost agricultural film, a venturi injector, and pruning shears.

The contracts were signed by IADK Executive Director Mr. Zenel Bunjaku and the Director of the Municipal Directorate of Agriculture Mr. Sabit Ferizi, who congratulated the beneficiary farmers on receiving these support grants for the small fruit sector. The initiative aims to create opportunities for self-employment and generate income through agricultural activities.

This activity was implemented within the framework of the project " Improving the employment and income generation opportunities in rural areas ", funded by Bread for the World (Germany) and co-financed by the partner municipality.
