The professional training program in the occupation “Fruit, Vegetable and Related Products Preservers” has been successfully completed for a group of 15 participants from the Municipality of Vushtrri. Throughout the program, the participants demonstrated strong commitment, dedication, and motivation to enhance their professional knowledge and skills.

📜 Upon completion of the training, the participants were awarded NQA-accredited certificates, confirming the competencies they acquired and their readiness to apply them in practice.

🤝 The certification ceremony was attended by the Executive Director of the organization, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, and the Director of Agriculture of the Municipality of Vushtrri, Mr. Besim Shyti, who congratulated the participants on their dedication and achievements. They emphasized the importance of investing in vocational training and the economic empowerment of women.

Based on the results achieved during the training, as well as the assessments conducted through field visits by the relevant evaluation committee, one participant was selected to receive support for establishing a food processing unit. This support aims to create concrete opportunities for self-employment, business development, and long-term economic empowerment.

The remaining participants were awarded essential equipment that will support the development and advancement of their activities in the field of food processing and preservation.

This activity was implemented within the framework of the project “Empowering women, men and youth living in economically challenging rural areas, to establish sustainable livelihoods through agricultural and food processing activities”  supported by the Swiss donor FRIEDA.
