Certification Ceremony and Grant Agreement Signing with Farmers from the Municipalities of Skenderaj and Malisheva.
Today, the 20-day professional training program in the livestock sector was successfully completed. The program was accredited and validated by the National Qualifications Authority. A total of 15 candidates participated in the program, of whom 8 were from the Municipality of Skenderaj and 7 from the Municipality of Malisheva.
All participants successfully completed the training and were certified with the title “Livestock Technician”, according to Level III of the National Qualifications Framework.
The modular training program in the livestock sector, profile “Cattle”, consisted of 7 modules with a total of 140 learning hours, equivalent to 7 credits. Of the total hours, 70% were delivered through practical training, while 30% were delivered through theoretical instruction.
During the ceremony, grant agreements were also signed with the certified candidates. This activity was implemented within the project “Improving the employment and income generation opportunities in rural areas”, funded by the organization Bread for the World from Germany and co-financed by partner municipalities.
The ceremony for certificate awarding and agreement signing was attended by Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, Director of IADK, Mr. Sabit Ferizi, Director for Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development in the Municipality of Skenderaj, and Mr. Sylë Dukolli, Director for Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development in the Municipality of Malisheva.
The training delivered and the grant support aim to advance cattle farming practices, improve farm hygiene conditions, increase the quality and quantity of milk, implement proper feeding practices for dairy cows, as well as improve the genetic quality of breeds. These interventions will contribute to increased productivity and higher income generation for beneficiary farmers.
