IADK SIGNS COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH MUNICIPALITIES

During February 2026, Cooperation Agreements (CAs) were signed with four partner municipalities: Malisheva, Klina, Skenderaj, and Vushtrri, where the project “Improving Employment and Income-Generating Opportunities in Rural Areas” will be implemented. This is a three-year project (2026–2028), funded by the donor BfdW from Germany, aiming to support farmers, women, youth, and students through grants and vocational training.

The project will be implemented in cooperation and co-financing with the above-mentioned municipalities. It is expected to create opportunities for beneficiaries to generate income through agricultural activities and the processing of agricultural products, thereby improving the socio-economic conditions of the population, especially in rural areas where the project will be implemented.

IADK has observed strong willingness from the mayors of the municipalities, who have expressed their interest in cooperating and co-financing projects that contribute to increased production and improved well-being of the rural population. They thanked IADK and the donors for providing support opportunities to farmers, both in terms of professional development and investments through grants, to create conditions for establishing or expanding their production capacities.
