With the aim of providing support through grants and strengthening the professional capacities of farmers, youth, and women in the agriculture and food processing sectors, on 30 January 2026, the Executive Director of IADK, Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Malisheva, Mr. Ekrem Kastrati, signed a Cooperation Agreement (CA).

Based on this agreement, the Municipality of Malisheva contributes through co-financing to the project “Improving Employment and Income-Generating Opportunities in Rural Areas”, a three-year project covering the period 2026–2028, which is implemented by IADK and funded by the donor BfdW from Germany.

On this occasion, Mayor Kastrati thanked IADK for its continued contribution to supporting farmers and expressed his readiness, as well as that of the Directorate of Agriculture, for correct and efficient cooperation during the implementation of the project.

Through this cooperation, it is expected that conditions will be created for beneficiaries to generate income through agricultural activities, thereby improving the socio-economic conditions of the population, particularly in rural areas of Kosovo where the project will be implemented.
