Memorandum of Agreement Signed between Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK) and Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo (EARK)
On November 7th 2025, the Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK) and the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo (EARK). he Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK) and the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo (EARK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of vocational training and employment promotion in the food processing sector in Kosovo.
The Memorandum was signed by Mr. Zenel Bunjaku, Executive Director of IADK, and Ms. Jehona Namani Rexha, Acting Director General of EARK, marking the beginning of a five-year partnership (2025–2030) that seeks to improve training and employment opportunities in food processing, specifically in the processing of fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. The goal is to enhance employment opportunities for youth, women, and marginalized groups in rural areas.
According to the agreement, IADK will organize and implement accredited vocational training programs in accordance with the standards of the National Qualifications Authority (NQA), while EARK will support the process through the identification of candidates, promotion of training programs, and facilitation of employment opportunities after certification.
This cooperation strengthens the link between vocational education and the labor market, contributing to the economic development of the food processing sector in Kosovo.
This activity is carried out with the support of the "Skills for sustainable jobs in Kosovo " project, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency.
