Certificate Award Ceremony for Participants of the Professional Training in Fruit, Vegetable, and Similar Products Preservation in the Municipality of Skenderaj
The Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK) organized the certificate award ceremony for 15 women from the Municipality of Skenderaj, who successfully completed the professional training program in the profile “Preserver of Fruits, Vegetables, and Similar Products.” The training, held during August – October 2025, focused on developing practical skills and professional knowledge in food processing and preservation, aiming to economically empower women in rural areas.
Upon completion on of the training, all participants received certificates of participation issued by IADK. Meanwhile, those who met the passing criteria according to the standards of the National Qualifications Authority (NQA) were awarded certificates of achievement, officially qualifying in the profession “Preserver of Fruits, Vegetables, and Similar Products,” level III according to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
During the ceremony, IADK representatives commended the dedication and engagement of the participants, emphasizing that this training represents an important step toward women’s economic empowerment and increased opportunities for employment and self-employment in rural areas.
This activity is part of the project “Improving Employment and Income Generation Opportunities in Rural Areas of Kosovo,” supported by the donor #Bread for the World (BfdW).
