This study visit was attended by 15 women and girls from the Municipality of Skenderaj, who attended the vocational training in the program “Preservatives of fruits, vegetables and similiars”.
The main goal of this visit was to motivate women and network them in the food processing sector, through learning about successful and sustainable practices applied by KRUSHA, one of the most well-known enterprises in the country for processing and preserving vegetables.
During the visit, they had the opportunity to get to know the technological processes of processing as well as the inspiring story of Ms. Fahrije Hoti about the establishment and development of the KRUSHA Cooperative. This visit was highly appreciated by the participants, for many of them, this was a motivating experience that proved to them that through commitment and proper support, women can play a key role in the development of agriculture and the local economy.
