Professional training in fruit, vegetable and similar preservation for women in the Municipality of Skenderaj

The Initiative for the Development of Agriculture of Kosovo (IADK) is holding professional training in the qualification “Preservation of Fruits, Vegetables and Similar”, with 15 participants from the Municipality of Skenderaj.
The training aims to empower women in rural areas by equipping them with knowledge and practical skills in food processing. Through these skills, women have the opportunity to improve their socio-economic situation, contribute to the household economy and become more financially independent📚
The training program includes 30% theoretical learning and 70% practical learning. The practical part takes place in the food processing unit at IADK, as well as in the processing industry of the relevant sector, providing participants with experience in real work environments. The training will take place during the months of September - October 2025, with a total duration of 20 days.
At the end, all participants will be provided with a certificate of participation issued by IADK. Meanwhile, candidates who reach the passing threshold according to the National Qualifications Authority (NQA), will receive a certificate of achievement.
This activity is carried out within the framework of the project “Improving employment and income generation opportunities in rural areas of Kosovo”, supported by the donor Bread for the World (BfdW).
