IADK Supports New Beneficiaries in Zubin Potok with Grants and Existing Beneficiaries with Additional Equipment in Leposaviq and Lipjan

Support for New Beneficiaries – Zubin Potok

As part of the project “Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development”, the Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK) has supported 6 new farmers in the municipality of Zubin Potok with grants. This intervention aims to boost the economic development of rural areas, where agriculture remains the primary source of income for many families.

In addition to the equipment, the beneficiaries will attend practical training sessions, equipping them with knowledge on efficient equipment use and sustainable farm management.

Through this support:

  • 5 farmers have received agricultural machinery to improve work efficiency;
  • 1 female farmer has been supported with a greenhouse, a modern irrigation system, and accompanying inputs for cultivation.

Support for Agricultural Sustainability – Leposaviq and Lipjan

As part of ongoing efforts to foster sustainable agricultural development, IADK has provided additional agricultural equipment to 7 project beneficiaries6 in the municipality of Leposaviq and 1 in the municipality of Lipjan – to meet their needs for further modernization of their agricultural production.

In addition to the equipment support, IADK continues to deliver professional training sessions led by engaged experts, aiming to enhance farmers' capacities and improve agricultural practices.

This activity is part of the project “Empowering Rural Communities through Agricultural Development”, funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and represented by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo. Project funds are managed by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), while the implementation is carried out by IADK.
