In order to facilitate and improve the working conditions of farmers, on July 11, 2025, IADK has signed contracts for grant support in the beekeeping sector with 10 farmers from the Municipality of Skënderaj, with anti-varo hives. 

This support package aims to contribute to improving the welfare of bees, increasing the yield of honey and other bee products, as well as strengthening the capacities of farmers to implement modern and more sustainable practices in bee management. 

In addition, beneficiaries will be offered training and direct advice from IADK experts, as well as study visits with the aim of achieving the highest possible productivity and quality, creating greater opportunities for generating income from this activity. 

This activity was carried out within the framework of the project "Improving the employment and income generation opportunities in rural areas of Kosovo", funded by the donor BfdW from Germany and co-financed by the Municipality of Skenderaj.
