STUDY VISITS FOR EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCES WITH BENEFICIARIES FROM THE LIVESTOCK SECTOR
Within the framework of the project "Strengthening the value chain through the skills development program" financed by GIZ, IADK has organized 3 study visits for the beneficiaries of the project in the livestock sector in order to further advance knowledge on breeding techniques, hygiene and nutrition of dairy cows.
Farmer Nazmir Piraj was visited in the municipality of Dragash, farmer Tefik Jashari was visited in Podujevë and farmer Riza Morina was visited in Malishevë.
A total of 39 farmers participated in these visits.
During these visits, the experiences of the farmers were exchanged among themselves, as well as the beneficiaries had the opportunity to learn more about the experience and knowledge of these hospitable and successful farmers, who explained the balancing of food rations based on the requirements for animals according to the physiological state and level of production, for hygiene practices and standard procedures of the milking process, breeding conditions and animal welfare.
