On the 19th of Aprill 2012, a group of 16 women from Klina of Skenderaj municipality have attended trainings for fruit processing in Baba Bokajt village in Gjakova, a visit supported by IADK.
The purpose of this visit was that the group of woman from Klina, to get practical knowledge on jams processing form wild tiny fruits, marketing of these products and exchange of knowledge and experience between this group and Mrs. Shkurte Rrustemi’s jam processing.
The visit was focused on fruit and vegetable conservation, and also on raspberry and blackberry parcels at farmer Shkurte Rrustemi in Babaj Bokes village. This visit was very interesting and successful for the participated group of women which they carefully followed the advices and her huge experience in this field food processing.
This visit was realized as a part project activity “Promotion of Agriculture, Horticulture, Livestock and Fruit processing in Mitrovica region”, a project financed from EU, which supports also same activities with rural area women in Kosovo.
